How much does an SLS part really cost

How SLS quoting works
Net prices
SLS: complex geometry and production runs
Powder surrounds the part during printing, so SLS needs no supports. It enables internal channels, complex shapes and assemblies with moving elements. Multiple parts share the build chamber; after printing we remove powder and finish the surfaces.
SLS terms for businesses
Minimum order: PLN 299.00 net
New file preparation: PLN 150.00 net, once.
Starting the chamber and processing the build take work even for a small order. For a single small part, the minimum and preparation can account for much of the price. In a production run these amounts are spread over more pieces.

- Lead time used in the table: 5–10 business days.
- For a small batch, the order minimum may determine the price. When the printing cost exceeds the minimum, you pay the calculated amount for the parts.
- Quantity discounts: 100 parts: −5%, 500 parts: −8%, 1,000 parts: −10%. Shared-build pricing uses a separate lead-time factor. The B2B minimum and preparation are still applied.
What makes up the price of a small order
Build setup and post-processing
Chamber setup, cooling and part cleaning require work even for a small order. The minimum covers this stage. The number of parts in a build depends on their dimensions and arrangement.
Lead time is also part of the price
Shared-build mode reduces the calculated print price by 8%. The order minimum can limit the saving; preparation and shipping are separate. Priority work is quoted individually.
Channels and mechanisms without supports
SLS can print channels and moving assemblies without additional supports. Geometry can affect powder removal, finishing and inspection. We check these requirements before confirming the price.
One piece for an individual
The SLS minimum for businesses is PLN 299.00 net. A technologist quotes a single part for a private customer, without the B2B minimum. Send photos, dimensions and intended use so we can assess the repair cost.
Send part photos for a quoteThe mass describes an example model. For a repair, we quote geometry reconstruction separately if no ready file exists. The indicative net amounts for this stage are shown below:

Geometry reconstruction is quoted once and the model remains yours. Printing an approved model for a private customer uses shared-build mode: 10–14 business days. Measurement and modelling time are agreed separately; a dedicated priority build is not included.
Ways to reduce the cost
Combine parts into a batch
The first quantity discount starts at 100 parts. Current tiers: 100 parts: −5%, 500 parts: −8%, 1,000 parts: −10%. Compare the full order total, including preparation and the minimum.
Consider shared-build lead time (−8%)
The declared shared-build lead time is 10–14 business days. A technologist confirms the schedule for the assessed model. The price factor does not guarantee the same reduction in the full invoice.
Reduce mass after checking the design
Hollowing and ribs can reduce material use. Keep the required stiffness, wall thickness and access for powder removal. A large part may need splitting or a different technology.
Return with the same file
Preparing a new file costs PLN 150.00 net once. Later runs with confirmed preparation of the same model carry no further setup fee.
