Resin catalogue for Form 4L

Only materials the manufacturer lists as compatible with Form 4L. In stock: 4 resins.

Nominal build volume: 353 × 196 × 350 mm. Layers from 25 µm depend on the resin and profile. Supports and orientation reduce the space available for a part.

What exactly can be printed

7 groups · 19 resins

Visual models and prototypes

Resins for assessing shape, presentations and successive design iterations. We select colour and finish for the surfaces that need to be visible.

What we assess (3)
  • Mechanically loaded parts are assessed separately; material is selected for the geometry and operating conditions.
  • Sustained UV exposure needs assessment. We do not declare colour stability without testing.
  • The Color Base color applies to the resin before printing; this is a different technique than deep-coloring of sintered powder, which we use to color SLS parts.

Transparent

Clear V5 can be used for a cover or flow model with internal viewing. Clarity depends on thickness and the agreed finish.

What we assess (3)
  • We agree the required clarity and visible surfaces before printing. Additional sanding, polishing or coating may require a separate quote.
  • Lenses with specified optical performance are outside our service scope.
  • We do not declare UV resistance or unchanged clarity over time.

Tough resins for functional trials

Materials for assembly prototypes and functional trials. Snap-fits, fits and impact resistance are assessed for the specific geometry.

What we assess (3)
  • Sustained load, temperature and creep require assessment for the selected resin. A short trial does not establish service life.
  • We compare batch costs after arranging the models. Geometry, quantity, material and finishing matter; there is no universal SLA/SLS break-even quantity.
  • Supports can leave marks on several surfaces. We agree their placement and finishing around fits and visible faces.

Stiff, glass-filled resins (Rigid)

Glass-filled resins for stiff prototypes and tooling. Deflection and distortion of flat surfaces are assessed for the geometry and print orientation.

What we assess (3)
  • Stiffness does not establish impact resistance. Thin edges, notches and dynamic loads require separate assessment.
  • We account for surface finishing and support-mark removal in the quote for the specific part.
  • For repeatedly flexed parts, we compare resin with PA11 or TPU 90A. Durability requires a trial at the specified deflection and cycle count.

Temperature and special conditions

Items requested with specific requirements: higher operating temperature, flame retardancy requirement, or electrostatic charge dissipation. We supply all of these to order.

What we assess (3)
  • TDS results apply to the stated resin version and specimen preparation. Washing and curing profiles follow the material documentation.
  • Technical ceramics remain outside our offering. Alumina 4N has no validated Form 4L profile in the manufacturer documentation we checked.
  • We do not declare compliance with any flammability or ESD standard for the finished product: this is a property of the material as tested by the manufacturer, not a certificate of our process.

Flexible resins

Materials for soft prototypes of grips, covers and seals. These are elastomeric resins; we do not claim they are silicone or that they replace it under all conditions.

What we assess (3)
  • For seals and cyclically loaded parts, we assess deflection, temperature and contact with the working medium. Comparison with TPU 90A requires the operating conditions of the specific part.
  • Supports and their marks are assessed for the geometry. Sealing and contact surfaces must be identified before printing.
  • Hardness does not establish finishing time or durability. We confirm washing, curing and finishing for the selected resin.

Patterns for metal casting

Burnout patterns for metal investment casting. We agree the material, pattern construction and preparation with the foundry before printing.

What we assess (3)
  • A casting pattern is a semi-finished product. We do not perform the actual casting; we transfer the model to a foundry.
  • Casting dimensions depend on the pattern, mould and foundry process. We agree pattern inspection scope and do not declare finished casting tolerances.
  • Geometry, casting material and quantity determine the process choice. We do not apply one quantity threshold to every project.

Compatibility does not mean immediate availability. We confirm resin, print profile and lead time when quoting.

From resin to a finished part

Part properties also depend on orientation, supports, washing and curing. Choose a resin for its application and technical data. Your model and requirements help us assess how to make the part.

What we do not print

We do not produce dental or medical devices or provide those services, or accept safety-critical parts. Precision Model Resin in our catalogue is used only for technical models and masters. The manufacturer's resin classification does not qualify our process for use in patients.

  • BioMed (Clear, Black, White, Amber, Durable, Flex 50A and 80A)
  • Dental LT Clear and Dental LT Comfort
  • Denture Base, Premium Teeth, BEGO VarseoSmile TriniQ
  • Surgical Guide, Custom Tray, IBT Flex
