What powder sintering offers

The pricing table uses example tooling and moulded-unit costs. A decision needs a toolmaker quotation with trial and acceptance dates. We confirm SLS price and schedule after reviewing the model.

What this process cannot do here

No fine print

  • The table’s threshold applies to the assumed costs; check mouldability and the toolmaker quotation separately.
  • We cannot replicate the gloss of a part from a polished injection mould. Sintering after Fuse Blast gives a matte surface.
  • Parts larger than 159.8 × 159.8 × 295.5 mm will not fit entirely inside the chamber.
  • We do not handle powders for food contact or with flammability ratings above UL 94 HB.

What the quotation covers

SLS needs no mould. The unit price includes parts, the minimum and file preparation, spread over the series. SLS quantity discounts: 100 parts: −5%, 500 parts: −8%, 1,000 parts: −10%. The shared-build option has a separate 8% discount.

What to prepare for a quote

  • Models and variants

    Files with revision labels and quantity per variant. State whether to start with a sample.

  • Part inspection

    Dimensions to check, tolerances and mounting surfaces. Include acceptance criteria if available.

  • Finish and deliveries

    Colour, finish, packaging and batch dates. Material selection depends on the application.

From how many pieces does a mold pay off?

Obtain tooling and moulded-unit costs for your own model. The price-list table compares demo parts with a moulding-cost scenario. Its result helps assess assumptions; it does not quote your mould.

Are properties repeatable between series?

A consistent model, material and profile help maintain the process. We agree measurements and acceptance criteria before the series; powder refresh rate alone does not guarantee part results.

Can a bridge series be produced during mold construction?

We can assess printing a batch while tooling is prepared. Send the model, quantity, requirements and delivery date; we confirm the schedule before ordering.

How much does changing the structure between series cost?

A new revision needs file-preparation review. Design, measurement and trial parts may be a separate scope, quoted before work.

What does quality control look like?

A reference part, measurement of critical dimensions and an agreed inspection record. We do not have ISO 9001 certification.
